Reviews And Awards - AH-C160W

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very mixed review When I started researching for good set of headphones that I could use when cycling, I came across the earlier model I saw many mixed reviews in terms of quality control.5Many reviews indicated that the sound would stop working suddenly. Unfortunately, the same seems to be true for this model. I was hoping that when I purchased this particular set those quality control issues would have been resolved. The sound quality of these headphones are great. However I would not recommend these headphones due to Quality standards issues or something relating to this design that keeps causing similar types of issues where they had phones suddenly stopped functioning. In my situation, I hear audio coming from one ear. I will be exploring other avenues to reach out to support because due to the hurricane, their call center is not available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Previous 150 owner Very good move to switch more rigid construction. Also foam tips are perfect. You should include other foam sizes as they provide much better sound quality. Hard to find you in top headphones but you deserve to be in to 3

Hello. I've got Denon Ah-c160w a couple of months. Suddenly, without a problem before, the left earphone stops the sound! Doesn't work! Only the right earphone plays normally. Do you know, what happens???? Thank you for your time...

I had a pair of 150s that the battery died on.The one main problem I had with them is the ear piece that was telescoping was not long enough to reach into my ears straight so they would always be popping out of my ears. Will these accommodate longer ears?

Asked by: kentlowt
Hey Kent, Unfortunately, I would not be able to give you accurate information about sizing as you would need to physically try the headphones and see if they fit your ears. I hope this helps if not you can always give us a call to have one of our expert technical support team members assist with any other concerns you may have.

I bought a Mighty devise, so it is posible to run without my phone (and still use Spotify). But it needs a cable. Is it possible to use a cable in these earphones?

Asked by: Miss LH
Hello Miss L H, Unfortunately you cannot connect a cable to this headset.

I was very happy with my AH-150W headphones...until I put them in a washing machine, amazingly they worked afterwards but it corrupted the rubber and they broke down. What would be my motivation to change into this model?

Asked by: Anne
Hello Anne, The only reason to jump into the AH-C160W is that the 150s are discontinued and hard to find now.

Loudness. Using with iPhone 6S without volume limiter on. However the maximum volume is very low in my opinion. Is there any way to push them further? Also very high end >8000hz is extremely hissy. Any idea how to balance out the frequency spectrum?

Asked by: Gribbo
Hello Gribbo, They do get pretty loud. The max is 100db, which is the equivalent to a lawn mower at 3'. And if you listen at 100db for 15 minutes that is the danger area. You cannot push them further than that. If there is a hissing sound the headphones may need to be replaced. Please call us at: 201-762-6665 M-F 10am-7pm EST

I already own them. The sound and loudness, which is the most important thing for me, is great for a sport bt buds. My question is if they have an App, it would be awsome

Asked by: JoseAHC160W
Hello Jose, Currently the AHC160W do not have an app for them. I will pass that along to our engineers, that is valuable input. Thank you.
